Astrid Ulloa is a researcher at the National Institute of Anthropology and professor in different universities in Colombia. Her research focuses on indigenous peoples' movements, ethnicity and anthropology of the environment. She is author of various books about community-based management of fauna and indigenous peoples' cultural and environmental politics in Latin America and Colombia.
